A primary school worker has been arrested at her home in Merrylands after a NSW Police investigation found she allegedly obtained a fake COVID-19 vaccination certificate for her job.
The 55-year-old administrative manager was arrested at her home in Merrylands and taken to Granville Police Station on Tuesday morning.
NSW Police allege she was an associate of an established Sydney-based crime organisation following an extensive investigation. A search was conducted amid her arrest, with officers seizing cash, documentation and electronic items for further forensic examination.The woman was charged with dishonestly obtain financial advantage by deception, deal with property proceeds of crime less than $100,000, and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.NSW Police will allege in court the woman used a fraudulent document to verify her vaccination status with her employer.
