Dean Cunningham was driving in East Kilbride when he was knocked off his bike and sent flying into the air.
A Scots dad feared he would never walk again after being involved in a horror crash on his motorbike.
After spending over a week in the Glasgow hospital, Dean was then transported to Wishaw General Hospital to be closer to his family. Dean recalled the sheer panic that coursed through his body during the crash. "I was waving at the driver in the car. I was speaking to him in a voice I've never used before. I was almost begging, pleading and crying to the guy because I was terrified after what happened.After being blue lighted to hospital Dean's family, including his mum, dad and fiancee, Kayleigh, rushed to be by his side as he was about to undergo major surgery.He said: "I saw my family three or four hours after the crash.
"They said I may be able to wiggle my toes before the surgery but I might not after. That was the first thing I tried to do and I could." "It has made me see life in a whole different light. As a biker when it's a sunny day you're instantly jumping on the bike with the boys and you don't realise that could be a day with the kids or with the other half.
