Road Policing Scotland said despite the driver's insurance being 'fine', officers found a quantity of cannabis and cocaine when they stopped him on Tuesday.

A Scots driver who was pulled over for an insurance check by was found to be carrying a £3,000 stash of drugs - after it turned out his insurance was "fine".

The driver passed the check on his insurance but police recovered wraps of cannabis and cocaine worth an estimated £3,000. An image posted by officers shows more than 30 small bags of cannabis and around ten containing what appears to be cocaine. They added: "#NotYourLuckyDay"
