Mr Morrison is holding a press conference in the Labor-held seat of Lingiari where the Coalition hopes to gain a crucial victory following the retirement of incumbent MP Warren Snowdon.
The Prime Minister has announced the government will invest $14 million to tackle youth crime in Alice Springs where assaults have risen by almost six per cent since January. The package will go towards improvements to CCTV, youth diversionary programs, community patrols as well as mental health services.The Prime Minister failed to appear before the media on Saturday and is expected to face questions over his decision not to hold a press conference as well as growing fears around China’s new security deal with the Solomon Islands.
