Scott Morrison has attempted to make light of the recent controversy surrounding his secret portfolio appointments by responding to a small business that joked on Facebook the former PM turned up to start working for them unannounced.
Mr Morrison has this week faced heavy criticism following revelations he secretly took control of five ministerial positions between March 2020 to May 2021 while in the nation's top job.
“I’ll let you know if I need any work done. What time do you need me for my first shift,” he wrote back. He condemned Mr Morrison for creating a secret government that"attacked" Australia’s"precious democracy".
