A damning report into the affair, released on Friday, found Mr Morrison had corroded public trust in government by secretly assuming control over five key ministries between 2020 and 2021. “This is about accountability of our democratic system, and whether the parliament was functioning properly,” he said.
Justice Virginia Bell said Mr Morrison was given a three-week window to meet in-person, but the former prime minister engaged only via his lawyer.
