Search for man last seen swimming in NSW river resumes

The man was swimming in the Murrumbidgee River at Wagga Beach in Wagga Wagga on Tuesday evening when he failed to surface. 9News

at 8.30pm on Tuesday when he didn't surface. Officers from Riverina Police District, Volunteer Rescue Association, NSW SES and NSW Ambulance, including the helicopter and swift water rescue, launched a search.

NSW Police said nobody has been reported missing in the area.
