Police say the major search for Celine Cremer in Tasmania's north-west has been suspended, but they still hope to find answers for the 31-year-old's family.

The search has focused on the area around Philosopher Falls, in Tasmania's north-west, where Ms Cremer's car was found on June 27."Considerable search efforts have been undertaken in difficult terrain and treacherous weather condition, but unfortunately Celine has not been located," Commander Stuart Wilkinson said.
