Police concerns have intensified over fears a dangerous bushfire could quickly break out amid a series of deliberately lit grassland blazes across Victoria.

Bendigo Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an arsonist terrorising Victoria’s north-west over the past three weeks.

Taking a break over New Years, the firebug returned in January 2 where one blaze was lit in bushland on River Rd in Myola at 3pm.
