They are seeking a dedicated Server Administrator to help maintain and optimize our server infrastructure. The Server Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining server infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. This role involves installing, configuring, and updating server hardware and software, monitoring server performance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.Monitor server performance to ensure efficient and secure operation. Implement server security measures, including firewalls and data encryption. Manage user accounts, permissions, and system controls. Document server configurations, changes, and upgrade history. Proficiency in server operating systems (such as Windows) and server virtualization technologies is required. Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and configurations is also essential. Careful attention to configuration changes and performance metrics is crucial. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues quickly is key. Establish the stability, reliability, and security of Network Services (ADDS, DNS, DHCP, NPS), Windows Servers (Physical and Virtual), and Virtualization environments (Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere). Microsoft MCSE/MCSA traditional on-premises infrastructure qualifications, or equivalent industry experience would be beneficial. Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ800 – AZ 801) would be advantageous.
