Dukes Bar, Florida Park, La Cala, Renfield Bar, Titwood and Victoria Bar belong to the Proper Pubs group which made moves to make life-saving defibrillators available to punters.

The defibrillators added send an electric pulse or shock to the heart, restoring a normal heartbeat when an individual is in cardiac arrest. Each pub was challenged to raise £1500 within its community to fund the defibrillators and events such as raffle nights and sponsored head shaving were held.
