A 'slow-moving' trough is wreaking havoc on the east coast. 9News

Heavy rain has flooded communities in Far North and inland Queensland, with a severe weather warnings currently in place for three states.

Until it does it's expected to cause "unsettled" wet weather across inland Queensland, South Australia and western NSW.Queensland has seen the heaviest falls, with moderate flooding currently occurring at Daintree Village after 70mm of rain was recorded yesterday. "Heavy rainfall which may lead to flash flooding is forecast to continue for areas between Ingham and Giru for the remainder of the morning," the BoM said.Locations which may be affected include Townsville, Woodstock and Rollingstone.
