Bill Shorten's attempt to sell a new government service to Australians using rom-com movies and memes on Valentine's Day has sensationally flopped.
as he unveiled details of a report into the service that was carried out by business leader David Thodey.
"The myGov app has the potential, this report says, to be a long-term part of how Australians deal with government," Mr Shorten told reporters. "People don't have to remember all their passwords, they don't have to deal with multiple government accounts. An average 1.4 million Australians access their myGov on a daily basis, with a total of 25 million authenticated accounts.
