Dr James McCaw from the Doherty Institute has been heavily involved in providing modelling the Government is using to make decisions on social distancing and isolation measures.Thankfully we are doing incredibly well," he said in an interview with Today. He said the results are a combination of Government taking early action based on modelling conducted before the pandemic hit Australian shores.Dr McCaw said keeping strict measures in place for six months will not eliminate the possibility of a second wave of infections.
