Narramore said the heaviest falls were expected on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, with the most impact felt from Port Macquarie south to Batemans Bay.
Narramore said a more precise forecast as to which areas could expect the heaviest rainfall would become clearer over the weekend. A warning for local to major flooding from Saturday in the Sydney metropolitan area has been issued by the NSW State Emergency Service.
