South Australia records 73 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, up on yesterday's record numbers.
South Australia has reported 73 new cases of COVID-19, up on yesterday's record of 64 cases in a single reporting period in the state.The new cases include 11 children, two teenagers, 34 women between the ages of 18 and 67, and 26 men between 19 and 74.
Four acquired their infection in South Australia, with contacts unknown, and 37 acquired their infections in Australia, with investigations into the source ongoing.There are now 233 active cases, with 294 recorded since the borders opened on November 23. Sparkke at the Whitmore co-founder Rose Kentish said business owners should be trusted to keep their customers and staff safe.
"Really getting our venue ready, our staff ready — and part of that was a double-vaccination process for our staff, which was their choice — but then rolling into a double-vaccination for our customers," Ms Kentish said."When the restriction ease and we move into being able to stand up and drink, stand up and dance, [we're ready] for our New Year's Eve plans."
