Last Wednesday The Daily Telegraph revealed New South Wales Police foiled a potential antisemitic terror plot in north-west NSW on January 19, after the discovery of a caravan laden with explosives and carrying the addresses of Jewish targets. Mr Jennings expressed his disbelief that the Prime Minister was not immediately informed about the matter and suggested the public should be concerned about his “unfocused” approach to the issue.
Mr Jennings argued the issue was not about the investigation but “about how the government deals with a clear and present danger”. “He's turning himself into the spectator in chief, Chris, but that's not good enough. He has the lead management role here in driving agencies to be on their mettle in dealing with this situation.
