It turns out that Spider-Man: No Way Home almost had Green Goblin featured with Iron Man's armor as new concept art of Norman Osborn emerges.

One of The Multiverse Saga's biggest films to this point is Spider-Man: No Way Home, which served as not only the trilogy finale for Tom Holland, but essentially a Spider-Verse adventure in live-action.
One of the big returns was Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin, with Norman Osborn getting a proper conclusion while also causing chaos and damage to the MCU's web-slinger. While he was already a dangerous threat throughout Spider-Man: No Way Home, it appears that Norman almost relied on one of the Avengers' equipment for his showdown with Peter Parker.
In the upcoming book, Spider-Man: No Way Home - The Art of The Movie there is concept art that reveals Green Goblin with Iron Man's armor, as he was initially going to steal some of Tony Stark's technology. As seen above, one version of the suit would have been a mixture of Iron Man and Green Goblin's colors, while the second design would have been a fully purple-and-green armored costume.
Those elements alone would have been devastating for the titular hero, especially given the powerful relationship that Peter had with Tony. It is possible that they removed Green Goblin's Iron Man-based suit from Spider-Man: No Way Home because the story was already heartbreaking enough once Aunt May's death had happened.
Nevertheless, based on the concept art alone, this would have been a fascinating look for the Green Goblin. Time will tell where the Green Goblin will appear next in live-action, since the film did wrap up Dafoe's character for good by having Norman be cured. Until that happens, fans can relive Dafoe's Green Goblin legacy through Spider-Man: No Way Home as well as Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy on Blu-Ray/DVD and on streaming.
