Stan Grant has been appointed the solo host of ABC’s current affairs talk show Q+A.on Monday night on August 1, for a once-off special. The ABC has confirmed this is not a permanent move from its current Thursday timeslot.Sydney Morning Herald
that the multiple-host role had been a successful approach for the show, despite some disappointing viewer figures.“The rotation of hosts is working very well, especially given the current lockdowns, so we will be continuing with that,” Vincent said, at a time when the country was in the grip of lockdowns and the show was limited in its ability to move around the country, and live studio audiences were severely restricted in capacity.
