Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has spruiked his infrastructure plan for the state ahead of Wednesday's COAG meeting between the Prime Minister and state premiers.

Population is slated to be on the agenda for today’s talks, and Mr Andrews says the federal government’s infrastructure funding pledge pales in comparison to the Victorian government’s commitment to build ‘the biggest infrastructure agenda’ in the state’s history. When asked about talks of building a high speed rail between Sydney and Melbourne, the Premier told Sky News it’s important ‘not to talk about infrastructure, but to build it’.
