The area has been rated as the best in the country for walking
According to a report by Britain’s national walking charity, the Ramblers, Rossendale is the best place for walking in the country.
The route starts at Haslingden Library in the town centre, loops into the countryside to stop by the Halo Panopticon landmark, before returning back to the town centre. All of this can easily fit into the space of 90 minutes and we've added a stop at a pub as a treat at the end.The route is adapted from one created by Rossendale Connected and gives the chance to visit the Halo.
