A new study has revealed Melbourne to be Australia’s most congested city with motorists spending close to 100 hours stuck in traffic.
New eye-opening research has shed light on how many hours Australians are spending in traffic each year, with one particular city standing out.
Using data sourced from navigation specialist TomTom, the study revealed Melburnians spend on average 205 hours on the road each year. Sydney came in second with an annual average of 203 hours spent driving, including 83 hours of congestion – equalling an average of $175 spent on fuel last year due to congestion.
