The Ribble Valley boasts plenty of attractions
It's just been named one of the "coolest" places to live in the UK. And now Clitheroe, along with the beautiful Ribble Valley it sits in, is officially one of the most popular places to visit for a "staycation" in the country.
Booking trends suggest families are opting to ignore the typically cooler and wetter weather in the north and west of England in favour of visiting the location. Keswick in Cumbria was named the number one choice for a February half-term break, with another three towns in the Lake District making the top 10.Our Red Rose locations, trendy Clitheroe and the Ribble Valley, are ranked eighth. The remaining spots are taken up by destinations in Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Northumberland.
"The rise in luxury breaks and pet-friendly breaks are also both continuing to prove popular among Brits taking a staycation this February half-term.”
