Queensland Police have launched an investigation following the death of a two-month-old baby found at a Gracemere property, south-west of Rockhampton.
Queensland Police are investigating the death of a two-month-old baby who was found unconscious on a rural property south-west of Rockhampton .
Paramedics then discovered the two-month-old had life-threatening injuries as she was rushed to Rockhampton Base Hospital. The tragedy follows the death of another infant at John Hunter Hospital in north-west New South Wales on Tuesday. The baby was first presented to Gunnedah Hospital by his parents, with staff subsequently notifying NSW Police of his injuries.Oxley Police District Detective Inspector Tom Aylett called on anyone who had information about the infant's family to urgently come forward.
