The road has now cleared
A PSNI statement said: "Police attended the scene of a three vehicle road traffic collision at the Sydenham Bypass at its junction with Dee Street at around 7am this morning, Tuesday 12th March. The collision involved two white vans and a black jeep. "One man was taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
A 52-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drink or drugs. He has since been released on police bail. "The road has since cleared and traffic is moving freely again. We would like to thank road users for their patience while police dealt with this incident. "Anyone who was travelling in the area or has dash-cam footage, is asked to contact Police on 101 and quote reference 200 of 12/03/24.
