“We all started to get in our heads, the grand final two years ago and what happened then,” Sydney captain Natalie Tobin told Paramount Plus. “But as soon as Maddie put that one away, oh my god, huge sigh of relief.” Sydney had 23 shots to Victory’s four, with Cortnee Vine and Haley constant threats, while Sky Blues captain Natalie Tobin and fellow central defender Charlotte Mclean shut down star striker Melina Ayres.
