This morning, 2700 of the state's health workers are in isolation with COVID-19 leaving hospitals chronically understaffed.
To make matters worse, one in 10 emergency room patients in Sydney's west are waiting so long they're walking out without treatment.Nurses say they've been left with little choice other than to walk off the job to demonstrate their frustration, anger and desperation.Nurses are calling for New South Wales Premier Dominic Perrottet to visit the hospitals and wards to see what nurses are going through on a daily basis.
