Apollo Global Management’s Tom Pizzey plays up his COVID-era fame in the video for his band The Distractions new single, BBQ Man.promoting a planned show at Bondi Bowling Club last Saturday, while cryptically asking ‘who is the BBQ man?’ The portion of the song included in the teaser is more a reflection on the pandemic, with lines like “we won’t be missing Gladys at 11am/ social distanced lockdowns, goodbye to them”.
