The legacy of aviation pioneer Nancy Bird-Walton, who founded the Australian Women's Pilots' Association, is enhanced after the Prime Minister reveals Sydney's second airport will be named after her.
Sydney's second airport has been named in honour of Nancy Bird-Walton, one of Australia's pioneer aviators and the founder of the Australian Women's Pilots' Association .
"I'm sure this hero of the Australian skies would be proud that the airport named in her honour will be providing much opportunity and enrichment to the workers and families of western Sydney," Mr Morrison said."Australia's story is a tremendous one and its the story of so many amazing women in our country," he said.
