Islamic State beheadings, homophobic videos, and other extremist material was allegedly found on the phone of a 14-year-old boy arrested in anti-terror raids in Western Sydney this week. Five teenage boys were charged with terrorism offences following 13 raids at homes across Sydney and another at a Goulburn location on Wednesday morning.

Former Australian Federal Police superintendent David Craig speaks about teen terror arrests. The arrests come after Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel was stabbed in an alleged terror attack at Christ the Good Shepherd Church in the Western Sydney suburb of Wakeley on April 15. A 16-year-old boy was later charged over the attack and a wider terror probe launched. The 14-year-old was among the five charged following Wednesday’s raids.
