The Sydney to Hobart yacht race is less than 48 hours away from setting sail, but many skippers remain in limbo.

One of the Sydney to Hobart line honours favourites could still be forced to withdraw if COVID tests come back positive.

The first of the fleet is expected to arrive at Constitution Dock in Hobart during the afternoon of December 28, but with the tricky weather forecasted for the day, skippers say it is anyone’s race this year.
