The Assistant Minister for Indigenous Australians said she is “very interested” in holding talks with Greens firebrand Lidia Thorpe over her opposition to the Voice to Parliament.

During an anti-Australia Day rally in Melbourne on Thursday the Greens Senator stated her opposition to the Constitutionally enshrined Voice, arguing Indigenous people “deserve better” than an advisory body.
