Warringah MP Zali Steggall says the Teal Independents will support the Indigenous Voice to Parliament but has added to the calls for more information about how it will affect communities.

Picture: News Corp Ms Steggall said she was constructing a newsletter with information about the proposed Voice, the Constitutional changes and the Uluru Statement from the Heart – which recommended the advisory body.
The Government has outlined the draft wording of the Constitutional change and Mr Albanese on Friday said the “Referendum Working Group” would provide further detail in time. Ms Steggall’s calls for more information were based on her concerns about “misinformation” taking hold and directing the public conversation.
The Warringah MP added she would “really welcome” a non-political advisory body for Parliament as the Voice is planned to be.
