A dynamic Internet Service & Network Specialist is searching for a strong Technical Support Engineer to join their team. This role will focus on providing support for cloud infrastructure, datacenter software , and end-user computing. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing call escalations to 2nd Level and specialist support within the business, as well as interacting with customer vendors.
The position requires a strong technical skillset, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to work in a remote part of the Northern Cape.Applicants must possess a Matric/Grade 12 qualification, a relevant IT tertiary qualification, and certification in one of the following: MCP, VCP, CCP, or A+. A minimum of 2+ years of experience providing end-user computing support and 3+ years of experience delivering End User Computing Support Services in a customer environment are essential. Proficiency in PC builds, endpoint installations, and AD and GPO experience is required. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate strong analytical and prioritization skills, the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a virtual team, and a commitment to maintaining high levels of service and quality.Successful candidates will be responsible for liaising between users, IT outsource providers, and internal IT processes. They will also develop and maintain professional working relationships with clients and VIP users, while ensuring adherence to company business standards, processes, and procedures.
