Teen charged as part of investigation into shooting death of Omar Elomar in Sydney's south-west on the weekend
Omar Elomar, 18, was shot dead on Saturday night.Emergency services were called to Cabramatta Avenue at Miller just after 11pm following reports that a teenager had been shot.
Mr Elomar was found lying on the road, where local residents had been performing first aid. He was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.The man was arrested at home in Cartwright, near Liverpool, at 4pm on Wednesday. He was taken to Liverpool Police Station and charged with concealing a serious indictable offence.He was refused bail and will appear at Liverpool Local Court on Thursday.
Police are appealing to members of the community for information or dash cam video from the Miller area taken during the evening on Saturday, February 15, and the early hours of Sunday, February 16.
