The incident began with the offender stealing the woman’s car from a Woolloongabba shopping centre in inner Brisbane.

When a teenage thief stole her car, a woman was left hanging out of the moving vehicle by her seatbelt and was dragged 350 metres along the street.

He was stopped by a security guard. Fewquandie told him to “f--- off” and “don’t touch me, c---“. He then scratched the guard’s arm and spat in his eyes. Crown Prosecutor Cameron Wilkins said a 22-year-old woman in the Lancer’s back seat was waiting for her partner to get food. She initially did not realise it was not her partner driving.
