A teenage boy has died after cutting open his thigh while climbing onto a shopping centre roof in Perth.
Police and an ambulance were called about 5:20am after reports that the 16-year-old boy was stuck on the roof of the Lakes Centre, on North Lake Road in Perth's south, with a serious laceration to his thigh. WA Police said two of his friends climbed onto the roof to assist him before calling emergency services.The teenager was taken to the nearby Fiona Stanley Hospital but died a short time after his arrival.
