A teenager has entered a convenience store armed with a gun during an alleged dangerous crime spree across south-east Queensland.

threatened a staff member and demanded money at a store on Queens Road at Slacks Creek in Brisbane's south at about 5pm yesterday.

Police tracked the Hyundai from the Pacific Highway to the Bruce Highway and successfully deployed a tyre deflation device at Caboolture at about 10.35pm, but the car kept going. A 17-year-old and a 14-year-old boy both from Logan have been charged with property crime offences including attempted armed robbery, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of a weapon.In a separate Queensland youth crime incident, four teenagers were charged over multiple alleged robberies and a stolen vehicle incident in Cairns.

"It will be further alleged the vehicle was involved in fuel drive-offs at a Kuranda service station and a Brinsmead service station later that day," Queensland Police said.Cairns Detective Acting Inspector Jason Chetham said police are taking action to target serious repeat offenders.
