A 17-year-old boy is charged with dangerous driving and drug offences after his involvement in a fatal crash on McMillans Road in Knuckey Lagoon on Saturday.
NT Police have charged a 17-year-old boy involved in a Darwin crash that killed a 24-year-old woman.A 24-year-old woman was trapped in her vehicle and died at the scene, police sayPolice were called to the crash on McMillans Road in Knuckey Lagoon about midday on Saturday.The 17-year-old was charged with driving a motor vehicle causing death, driving without due care, driving with a prohibited drug in the blood and using a mobile phone, among other offences.
In a statement, NT Police said initial indications were that the boy was on the wrong side of the road when the collision occurred.The crash killed a 24-year-old woman and a man has been arrested.
