A young teenager has been rescued from abandoned war tunnels after he was badly injured while playing inside the derelict historical landmark. Emergency crews were called to the Malabar Battery, in Sydney’s southeast, after reports the 13-year-old boy had been injured on Sunday. He was taken to Sydney Children’s Hospital for further treatment of his leg injury.
