A 17-year-old boy has died and another has been taken to hospital following a stabbing at Sydney’s Royal Easter Show. 7NEWS
First aid was rendered at the scene before both were taken to Westmead Hospital.
Emergency services were called to the carnival ride section of the Show about 8pm on Monday on reports of a fight.Paramedics worked to save the 17-year-old’s life after he suffered a stab wound to the ches but he died a short time later after losing a significant amount of blood. The other, a 16-year-old, suffered a stab wound to his leg and was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Emergency services were called to the carnival ride section of the Show about 8pm on Monday on reports of a fight.“Paramedics performed CPR and a number of other critical interventions at the scene before loading the patients to Westmead Hospital,” Inspector Mark Whittaker of NSW Ambulance said.“There’s no doubt this would have been a very confronting scene for the dozens of witnesses who were out to enjoy an evening at the Royal Easter Show.
