The crimes, both allegedly committed by teenagers, came just days after the Queensland premier announced proposed changes to youth crime laws.
Two boys have been stabbed by other teenagers, while another was repeatedly struck with a broken bottle just days after two youths allegedly killed a Queensland mother in what was described as a terrifying home invasion that prompted the state government to announce changes to its youth justice laws.
“Unfortunately, we saw two juveniles – a 15-year-old and 16-year-old – one stabbed in the torso, one stabbed in the upper thigh,” he said. In a separate incident on the Sunshine Coast, police said two teenagers approached a 15-year-old boy from Victoria.
