A woman texted her ex to “call the police LMAO”, minutes before she burned down his family home , with police finding witchcraft books among her possessions.
The pair had broken up a month earlier but Wang messaged Mr Cabucol asking if she could stay there for a time as she felt she couldn’t return home. Located near the front of the house, police discovered a suitcase containing items including incense sticks, witchcraft books and rope. Judge Ellis said Wang’s mental health had since stabilised and a return to custody might be “counter-productive” to her mental health.
