That decision was scrapped by Steven Miles in favour of doing up the Queensland Sports and Athletics Centre.I'd like one party to commit to a modern stadium fit for use for the Olympics, major sporting codes and events like concerts. I'm embarrassed over both the inability to make a decision for the future and how far behind much of the world we are.
"All events don't have to be held in the south-east, but the challenge is always, how do you bring the rest of Queensland along?"The International Olympic Committee has recognised the fading desire to host the games.
