Steve Smith has left some of the greats in the game in awe after he flung himself full stretch to take a one-handed grab and dismiss Kiwi star Kane Williamson.
Smith was mobbed by jubilant teammates, who are now accustomed to seeing him perform remarkable deeds either with the bat or in the field.
"The other thing with it, it was a great catch but it was New Zealand's best player. That is what makes that catch all the more better. Any half chances like that you have to take them." Former England captain Michael Vaughan said: "It doesn't get any better than that. Steve Smith, take a bow."
