Finding a cheap home is a difficult thing to do these days. As house prices remain high across the region, you're now looking at a cost of around £259,316 to buy a standard home in Greater Manchester.
Thankfully, there are some areas where property prices are much more affordable, which can be narrowed down to specific streets. A tool by Property Solvers has now located the streets with the cheapest homes in the region, by looking at average sold prices from HM Land Registry over the last five years.
House prices start from as low as £37,583 on Old School Drive in Manchester, with some of the cheapest streets including Savick Avenue in Bolton, Drake Close in Oldham and Henderson Street in Rochdale. Below are the top 10 most affordable streets to live on in every corner of the region - from Bolton to Wigan - where you can expect to buy a home for much less than the average house price.
