The sisters had the crowd cheering as they sang their 00s hits
Singing duo The Cheeky Girls created an electric atmosphere as they performed at Liverpool Pride today. The identical twin sisters Gabriela and Monica Irimia, who found fame on Popstars: The Rivals, are no strangers to performing at Pride events across the country, and made Liverpool their latest venture. The sisters performed at The Masquerade Bar on Cumberland Street in Liverpool city centre as part of the many pride celebrations across Liverpool this weekend .
' While the crowd were on their feet for every song performed it was their most iconic song - 'We are the Cheeky Girls'' that truly got the party started. The crowd gave of a collective cheer as they began playing this song. Although it may be many years since the Cheeky Girls were at the height of their 00s fame, many people in the crowd could be heard commenting that the pair ''hadn't aged'' and how incredible they looked.
