Cult fashion startup Shoes of Prey has collapsed into liquidation after months of speculation over its future

Shoes of Prey co-founder Jodie Fox with some of the startup's product.The liquidation was foreshadowed by Shoes of Prey co-founder Michael Fox, who published a post onMr Fox, Jodie Fox and Mike Knapp launched the startup in 2009, enabling shoppers to customise shoes online and have them delivered within weeks.

Mr Fox said mass market customers want to see the latest trends and what celebrities and Instagram influencers are wearing and they want to wear exactly that - both the style and the brand.
