A couples-only retreat in Tasmania offering panoramic views and luxurious amenities.
The Keep, located in Goulds Country, Tasmania, is a striking three-story structure offering panoramic 360-degree views of the Tasmanian wilderness and distant ocean. Situated atop a 650-meter-high pinnacle, this unique getaway is reminiscent of a medieval keep, modeled after a Scottish design and completed in 2017.
Recently refurbished by hospitality duo Sue and Jonathan Stagg, The Keep boasts luxurious amenities, including bespoke Tasmanian furniture, high-quality finishes, and premium appliances. As a couples-only retreat, the property features a spacious bedroom, a bathroom, and a thoughtfully curated ambiance with books, artwork, and potted plants. Guests can enjoy a range of provisions, including a welcome bottle of wine and a stocked fridge and pantry. While it's possible to hire a private chef for an additional cost, meals are otherwise the responsibility of the guests, with the nearest town, St Helens, a 40-minute drive away
