One of the weird moments of cognitive dissonance at John Barilaro’s evidence to an inquiry into himself on Monday was how unselfconscious the former NSW deputy premier sounded describing it.
“By luck or chance this particular cab sub [cabinet submission] got on the cabinet agenda and was approved by the cabinet,” Barilaro told an upper house committee.
